Class Description
In this class, we’ll dive into the soul of Khao Soi, Northern Thailand’s iconic creamy curry noodle dish. You’ll begin by making a fragrant Khao Soi curry paste from scratch, exploring essential Thai ingredients and smart substitutions along the way. Then, you’ll learn to build a deep, balanced curry using rich coconut milk. Next, you'll make unique fresh egg noodles, shape them, and cook them two ways - soft and chewy and golden and crispy - to experience the contrasting textures that define Khao Soi. Finally, we’ll prepare traditional garnishes, including a spicy fried chili oil, and serve the dish alongside an authentic Thai Iced Tea for a complete, sensory-rich meal.
