Class Description
Experience the vibrant flavors of Thailand in one unforgettable, hands-on class. You’ll cook a dish as close as possible to Pad Ga Prao (also spelled Pad Kra Pao or Pad Kaprao - stir-fried holy basil) along with crispy Thai fried eggs and fluffly jasmine rice, as well as fragrant and creamy Tom Kha Gai (Thai coconut chicken soup). Learn the techniques behind proper stir-frying, balancing spicy, savory, aromatic flavors, and building deep, well-rounded soup flavor. You’ll also learn smart substitutions for ingredients that can be difficult to find locally - without losing the logic of Thai cooking. You’ll leave with practical skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of what makes these iconic dishes taste so good.
